Mission
My goal is to partner with my clients in their journey towards improved mental health and symptom management. I ask for a shared commitment in this process, including regular and ongoing treatment until we collectively feel that you are better equipped to handle what brought you here initially.
Professional Standards and Ethics
I am licensed by the State of Washington Department of Health (DOH) and have fulfilled all of the requirements required to provide your psychiatric and mental health services. You may search my credentials on the DOH website at www.doh.wa.gov, or call (800) 525-0127.
Approach
Training the mind and body connection is a significant focus of my practice for achieving balance, which I believe is an important factor in improving mental health and wellness. Medications provide symptom relief for various difficulties, however I am conservative when initiating or continuing pharmacological treatment and welcome the inclusion of complimentary and alternative medicine practices when appropriate. Together we will work to create a plan that aligns with your beliefs and is guided by current evidence-based practice standards.
